Bid Trawler helps companies win public contracts by streamlining the process of sourcing, reviewing, and bidding for contracts. The services includes filtering and matching contracts to your company profile, bid support through project management and bid writing assistance. On some packages it also includes bid writing, and providing business insights to make informed bidding decisions and understand your competition.

Bid Trawler caters to various sectors, including Construction/Building, Grounds Maintenance, Facilities Management, CCTV, Recruitment, Catering, Commercial Cleaning, Tree Services, Gardening, Fire Safety, Security, IT Consulting/Software, PR & Media, Playpark Construction, Lift Maintenance, and Waste Management.

Bid Trawler provides their client portal to supply your business with filtered and match contract notifications, allows you to request bid packs and before you even put pen to paper we have reviewed the bid packs to make the qualification a time saving exercise highlighting problems with the bid packs or the contract. After we agree the contract is suitable then we work with you and completely write the bid with you keeping alignment via our digital portal or slack communication channels put in place for each client. Post bid submission reviews are carried out if it is a single stage giving valuable business insights.

The Starter Plan is priced at £99 per month, suitable for companies with a turnover under £250k. The Growth Plan is available for £450 per month, designed for companies with a turnover under £1m and £950 for companies over £1m turnover. We also have a bespoke plan for Enterprise clients who require us to create a bespoke plan for their needs. 

No is the short answer. If you are on the Starter Plan then you have the choice to pay for a bid writer or do the application yourself. Any bid writing will be a standalone service for the Starter Plan and as such is required paid for in advance. If you are on our Growth Plan then you have a provision for 2 bids per month with additonal bid writing resouce available should you require. This model is different with industry competitors and is where we share the risk with you and do not have an upfront charge for bid writing as its included in your subscription however we operate a commission structure of 5% for companies under £1m turnover and 3% for over £1m turnover against thw winning bid value.

Our commission structure is industry leading and gives great risk sharing so you know were are working just as hard as you are to win the bid. Our fees are calculated and provided in the contract we sign with you. For exmaple, if you have a winning bid that is for less than 1 year of commitment then we would invoice for the whole commission once you have been paid for your first invoice. If the contract is multi-year then we divide the contract and allow you to pay it on the anniversary of the contract.

The are no hidden fees. The service plans are priced at a flat monthly rate, and you can cancel at any time.

We use Stripe as our payment processor no matter what plan you are on so all payment methods are accepted to initiate the portal access.

We offer 4 weeks FREE on our Starter Plan to help customers assess are they ready to bid, and also see what kind of contracts are ion their sector or area. It helps not only us but the customer only has a small outlay to try the service over a longer periof of time with fixed bid costs should they want to bid.

Both service plans are on a monthly subscription basis and can be canceled at any time, providing flexibility for your company.
